These Terms of Service govern your use of the website and tutoring services provided by Ace Academic Tutors Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking a consultation or lessons with us, you agree to these terms.
We provide personalised online tutoring in Maths, English and Science, from KS1 to A-Level and 11+, delivered in our interactive online classroom. Services are arranged by a parent or guardian on behalf of a student.
Lessons begin with a free, no-obligation consultation. We aim to match a suitable specialist tutor, typically within 48 hours. If a match is not the right fit, we will happily introduce an alternative tutor where possible.
Our current rates are shown on our Pricing page. Fees are quoted per 60-minute lesson and may vary by the number of weekly sessions. Payment is taken in advance, monthly or upfront as agreed. We may update our prices from time to time; changes will not affect lessons already paid for.
If you need to cancel or move a lesson, please give at least 24 hours’ notice and we will reschedule it free of charge. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged, though we will always try to find an alternative slot where possible.
We ask that students and families treat tutors with respect and join lessons ready to learn, in a suitable environment. We expect the same professionalism from our tutors. We reserve the right to decline or end services where conduct is inappropriate or unsafe.
The welfare of children is our priority. All tutors are interviewed and enhanced-DBS checked. Please read our Safeguarding Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Lesson materials, resources and website content are owned by us or our licensors and are provided for the personal, non-commercial use of our students only. They may not be copied, shared or resold without permission.
We deliver our services with reasonable care and skill but cannot guarantee specific grades or outcomes. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees paid for the affected lessons.
We handle personal information in line with our Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
