Ace Academic Tutors Ltd is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and young people who use our services. We expect everyone working with us to share this commitment. This policy applies to all tutors, staff and anyone acting on our behalf.
The welfare of the child is paramount. We aim to provide a safe, respectful and supportive learning environment, and to act quickly and appropriately if we have any concern about a child’s safety or wellbeing.
All tutors are expected to be alert to signs that a child may be at risk of harm, including physical, emotional or sexual abuse, neglect, or online harm. Concerns may arise from something a child says, something observed, or a change in behaviour.
If a tutor or staff member has a safeguarding concern, they must report it immediately to our Designated Safeguarding Lead. Concerns are recorded and, where appropriate, referred to the relevant local authority children’s services or the police without delay. In an emergency, where a child is in immediate danger, call 999.
Contact our Designated Safeguarding Lead via [email protected] or 07454 905330. (Please confirm the named DSL and update these details.)
If you have any concern about the conduct of a tutor or the safety of a child, please contact us immediately using the details below. You can also contact the NSPCC on 0808 800 5000 (nspcc.org.uk) or your local authority’s children’s services.
